Put Your Best Face Forward

Do you feel like your natural good looks could use a little lift? It could be time for a refresh, and we’ve got some amazing options for you.

Get Your Fill

Dermal fillers make a big difference. Fillers add volume, correct asymmetry, and add definition to your lips. In addition,  dermal filler can be used to restore lost volume from aging or enhance your facial features. Fillers are au naturel, made up of Hyaluronic acid, which is found in some fluids and tissues in the body that add plumpness to the skin, so there are no worries of unnecessary chemicals or anything like that.

Just Relax

Wrinkle relaxants are another incredible option for a fresh-faced look. We carry two different brands, but they’re both natural, purified proteins perfect for pushing back the signs of aging.

These particular injectables work their magic by temporarily relaxing the muscles in your face to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

 FAQs

What should I do prior to my procedure?
  • 3 DAYS PRIOR: Avoid all blood thinners including alcohol, Advil, Aspirin, Aleve, Omega 3, Fish Oil, Vitamin E, Ginkgo, St. John’s Wort or garlic to avoid bruising

  • 1 DAY PRIOR: Avoid drinking alcoholic beverages to prevent additional bruising.

  • Inform your provider if you have a history of cold sores or if you are receiving antiviral therapy prior to treatment

What are fillers and how do they work?

The natural collagen and elastin in the skin lessens as we age. Our skin becomes dryer, thinner and less able to restore itself causing fine lines and wrinkles to develop. Lifting and smoothing targeted folds and wrinkles by adding subtle volume, dermal fillers can give you a fresher more youthful look.

What are wrinkle relaxants?

Wrinkle relaxants work by temporarily relaxing facial muscles that cause fine lines and wrinkles. Wrinkle relaxants can also be used to treat conditions such as TMJ, migraines and hyperhidrosis.

What does the treatment involve?

A dermal filler treatment involves injecting hyaluronic acid (HA) into your skin with a tiny needle. The discomfort is minimal and the treatment is quick.

How long does the treatment take?

For dermal fillers, the procedure takes approximately 45 minutes.

For wrinkle relaxants the appointment is approximately 20 minutes.

When will I see results?

With dermal filler treatments, the results are immediate. Please allow two weeks for product to fully settle and see final results. With wrinkle relaxant treatments, results can take a few days up to 10 days.

What are the side effects?

With dermal fillers, there can be some slight bruising and/or swelling that accompanies it. Please allow two weeks for final results and all products to fully settle.

Who is this treatment best for?

Facial fillers work for a wide range of patients. They are used not only for rejuvenating skin, and reducing lines and wrinkles, but also for adding volume to your face. Fillers help to restore the volume loss that naturally begins to occur as we age and creates a fresher, brighter appearance. They are also a great option for you if you would like to contour your face to enhance your features or plump your lips.

Who should avoid this treatment?

This treatment isn’t suitable for those under 18 years.
Although there is no known risk to patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, we do not recommend having this treatment under these circumstances.

What results does the treatment aim for?

The results should be subtle, leaving our friends and family believing that we are simply looking our best.

Do I need a dermal filler or wrinkle relaxant?

It depends on your personal preference and the areas you would like to target. For example, if you are looking to treat fine lines on your forehead or around your eyes, we would likely recommend a wrinkle relaxant. If you are concerned about lines around your mouth or hollowness in your face, or if you are interested in achieving fuller lips, we would recommend a dermal filler.

How can I avoid bruising and swelling?

Avoid products / foods that thin the blood. (Omega 3's, green tea, alcohol, Advil, Aspirin, Ibuprofen, caffein.)

How long does it last?
Botox® / Dysport® typically last between 3 - 4 months depending on the person and the rate of their metabolism. Filler lasts between 6 months - 1.5 years for a full vial, and up to 6 months for a half vial.
